We made history yesterday. A community founded over 200 years ago for the first time in over two centuries, played soccer on a prepared pitch and in the evening under flood lights.
We gave meaning to the prophetic saying, ” Give me a man with a vision, and I will show you an occurrence that was thought to be impossible.
That man is the captain in the number 10 jersey. All glory to Allah, the most merciful, the most gracious.
I remain grateful to the Vice President, H. E Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Greater Accra Regional Minister, the Youth and sports minister and all who made it to the stadium.
